it looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great stopping point to me.
ReplyDeleteTop painting excellent. Looks finished to me.
ReplyDeleteBottom painting exciting as well. Love the color at the top and texture at the bottom, but the vertical design at the bottom is the first thing that attracts and holds my eye. Not saying that's a bad thing...
Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI love both of these pieces.I wouldn't mind seeing a point of reference within each piece - I love your use of collage and text in your acrylic multi-media pieces. They provide a suggestion or jumping off point in perceiving the artist's intent or message - my two cents :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments everyone! Much appreciated. Both pieces are liquid acrylic, dry media ground, gel, polymer medium, charcoal and graphite. Lots of thin layers...and also some liquid mirror accents. Impossible to show in a photograph. I may take photos of details later.
ReplyDeleteNice art

Beautiful! May I ask what surface the second painting was painted on?
ReplyDeleteBoth pieces are painted on birch panel. I think I still consider both of them works in progress at this point.
