Lori Richards at Queen West ARTCRAWL
Spending time in Toronto mid-month? If so, check out the glowing, luminous landscapes and abstract work by painter Lori Richards. She will be exhibiting her beautiful work in the Trinity Bellwoods park during the Queen West Art Crawl 2009. Loose yourself in the stunning intensity of her palette, the mystery of her imagery and the strength of her skill. Lori's paintings are stories, places you travel into and inhabit. They have a way of making the space around them warmer, invoking a sense of nostalgia and reverence. There is magic in her hills.
Lori uses Tri-Art Liquid acrylics to produce her lush colours, adding an organic earthiness with the use of Tri-Art's recycled acrylic paint, the affectionately named, Sludge.
